A significant portion of the snow has melted as of today, but there is a chance of more this weekend. Here's hoping!

I especially like the layers in the first photo. And the second one is puzzling. I'm trying to figure out if that's a mountain of snow in front of the house, or if there is another roof in the foreground.

I don't want to say TOO much about the second shot because it is that mysterious form that I liked so much about the composition. Well, that and it reminds me of a scene from the film "Lost Horizon", where a stovepipe coming out of a snowy cliff marks the edge of Shangri La. ^_^
