These two long exposures of a distant storm were taken one night last week. Both have focus issues (I suspect my attention was not on the photographic details as I battled mosquitoes), but I like the compositions, particularly the second shot.

It seemed to take forever for this thunderhead to get close to the moon, but once there, it seemed to move way too fast to compose the image!

In one long afternoon at Chincoteague, Owen went from being an ocean newbie who was easily rolled by larger waves, to a bodyboarding fanatic, catching those same waves and riding them all the way to the beach.

For the past few years we have grown a long strip of Zinnia's next to our garden. But this spring I had both motivational and time management issues and never managed to get the tiller out of the barn... Consequently our Zinnias (and much of our produce) are coming from Yellow Finch Farm, a fantastic local CSA.

These Zinnias had been cut close to a week when I photographed them, but they still looked beautiful.
